Australia Day Celebrations

Our day went off well. 
Fr. Michael was our ‘mystery judge’.
He took the job quite seriously.
The winner of the trophy was Mrs. Rita Hogan.
Toowoomba identity,singer of ballads, Ken McGilvray, was very well received,
and will be back to sing at the Helidon Heritage Fair
on 15th August 2010. There were twenty prizes in the multi draw raffle.
Everyone enjoyed the day, with plenty of lamingtons on the menu for afternoon tea.
Mrs. Maureen Wrigglesworth won the lucky door prize.
Aussie flags were everywhere.
